Anybody have some ideas for activities that might be fun? Icontest? fic-a-thon? Caption contest? "Other"? Eh?

I am in favor of icontests. And also caption contests. And possibly fic-a-thon.

Cannot guarantee providing anything clever, but I like the ideas :)

are there enough people who make icons for an icontest? I love them, but when there are only two or three people entering it kinda sucks.

a caption contest though, is something everyone can enter.

Oooh Icontests would be great but it does tend to take me a while to get them made - so not too regularly. :)

Caption contests would be great - word games and such. Not much good at writing or fic contests but I'd have a go, if i got a bit of spare time.

I'll put on my thinking cap and see if i can think of anything else.

Heehee, I have the same problem with good_news_week. (Even though the original LJ comm is finally getting input from someone other than me. :P)

My husband and I have just started getting into Red Dwarf. We're on the second disc of the third season, and I (he doesn't do social networking) am looking forward to discussion, crack!fic, and icons (making and ganking). :)

Is it just me or are there others like me who really really really want a "Season 9" ficathon? A challenge focusing specifically on what happened in that lost season, and the events leading up to Back to Earth.
