Series XI and XII: Good idea/Bad idea?

What's your reaction? Are you excited? Trepidatious? Entirely opposed?

Hm, we'll see if anything is dependent on Series X. I didn't feel like there was much that you needed to know specifically from the previous series to appreciate Series X. This is with the caveat that I now don't remember Series X very well...

I don't much remember IX or VIII for that matter...

Ha, yes, me too. When I go for a re-watch, I tend to get through Series VI and then feel satiated enough to stop.
